I have three separate Hughes lines in Owen County: Generation 1: Willard Everett Hughes (b. 1873 Owen Co.) m. Sarah Alice Hughes in 1894. Willard Everett Hughes was the s/o James Knox Polk Hughes (b. 1845 Scott Co.) and Drucilla C. Hughes (b. 1848 Owen Co.). Sarah Alice Hughes was the d/o George S. Hughes and Harriet Stevenson. Generation 2: James Knox Polk Hughes was the s/o John Hughes and Lucy Ann Henage of Scott Co. KY Drucilla C. Hughes was the d/o John D. Hughes and Mary E. Green of Owen Co. George S.
