2 cups flour
Banana Bread
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup bananas, mashed
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
Stir flour, soda, and salt together. Set aside. Cream shortening and sugar; blend in eggs and bananas. Stir in dry ingredients; add pecans and vanilla. Mix well; pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 250 degrees F.
