"Better Than Sex" Cake

1 box yellow cake mix with pudding
20-oz. can crushed pineapple
1 cup sugar
1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 carton Cool Whip
Coconut
Pecans

Bake cake mix in 13x9x2-inch sheet pan as directed on box. Boil pineapple and sugar together for 5 minutes. Cool and spread over cooked cake. Prepare pudding according to package directions and spread over pineapple mixture. Spread Cool Whip over this. Sprinkle with coconut and pecans.

Freezes well. Serves a bunch!
