Coventry Dog Training Club(Kennel Club Registered) |
Central to the activities at the Coventry Dog Training Club are our Training Nights, at which, each member is guided through basic pet handling, and may progress into competition handling if they wish to do so.
The club is open to all dogs (and their owners), from puppies to senior dogs of any size, colour or breed (including cross-breeds). During the winter, training takes place on a Thursday evening at Brownshill Green United Reform Church, Hawkesmill Lane. Sessions for beginners start at 7pm and the class lasts for 30 minutes. In the summer our Tuesday and Thursday evening training moves 'outside' to Coundon Hall Park (entrance opposite to the Royal Court Hotel), again in Coventry. There are occasions (very few) when the club does not hold one of the training sessions (you can't begrudge us a night to hold our AGM), so it would be better if you get in Contact with us before you attempt to find the venue. Also, the sessions do occasionally get 'filled', and we may then need to put new starters onto a waiting list. |
