Brandy is a female Norwegian Elkhound who was born on December 14, 1993. She is a house dog but loves to be outside and especially loves playing in snow. Elkhounds originated in Norway around 4000 B.C. and were bred to hunt Moose.  Brandy definitely thinks she was meant to be a hunter and has demonstrated that she has the ability. Brandy is quite the Houdini and escaped every way possible until we got a big yard and a 6 foot picket fence.  Brandy weighs fifty pounds but most people think she weighs much more because of all of her thick fur.   Brandy came from Tabb, Virginia and her parents are Oshima's All that Mischief and Ch. HoJo's Mountain Hunter.
