SOURDOUGH RECIPES

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I promise to make these two recipes copy and paste friendly in the very near future [date: August 8, 2004]. It has just been so much fun for me to copy them in their original form. I believe this page represented my first practical use of a scanner. See? There is history aboundant on my web pages! HA! -wonder

STARTER

Either find a friend with a culture of sour dough starter
and see if they will give you a cup
or
add one package of active dry yeast to the "feeder" recipe below.

Then feed it again after 24 hours and
wait at least through another feeding before removing dough for baking.

Have fun and enjoy. Let me know how you liked the recipes. As you can tell, I have used these recipes a lot!!!

~*~My daughter says that my recipes remind her of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
They are old and in poor condition but they produce good results.
'Guess they are a bit like the scrolls, after all!~*~

These recipes were typed on an old Remington portable.
Isn't is amazing how technology has improved?
[My typing has improved some, also.]
