My father, Paul Cook, son of Clinton Byrl Cook, always said that when James M. and Martha J. Moore Cook died that his father was only 12 years old. He is said to have caught a freight train back to Graves Co., KY. He was probably the only sibling still in the home. Another story that I have heard all my life is that James (Big Jim) M. was close to 7 ft. tall, and that Martha was just a little over 5 ft. tall.

Thanks for your help in trying to batter down these two brick walls.
