This connects to the family of VIRGIL Y. COOKE who he states in a letter that his father was William Cook, mother Pernecia Dodds (dau. of Capt. John Craig Dodds) and grandfather John Cook. That he was born in Graves Co., KY. His parents moved there from Caldwell Co., KY.
