#1 June 4, 1999 Surnames: FERGUSON and ARMSTRONG Seth FERGUSON born in 1834 in NY, married Mary ARMSTRONG born in 1826 (?NY). Had 4-5 sons incl Henry C, my G-father born in Ellenburg Center/Clinton Co. NY in 1873. Other sons Byron, George, Thomas, Charles. Moved to Canada at some point and finally settled in Wisconsin, Chippewa Falls. Seth died in 1910 buried in Hallie Township, WI. Any help appreciated. ElfHa@aol.com

#2 March 31, 2001 Surnames: FERGUSON My sister and I have been looking for our FERGUSON connection. We have found from military records that our grandfather Charles A. FERGUSON b 8/30/1878 in Providence NY, d 1942 (?) in Biloxi, MS. Served in US Army in Co E 2nd Artillary 5/29/1899 to 5/29/1902. Parents were Anthony and Ellen (?) FERGUSON. There was at least one other child born to them, David FERGUSON. We have heard that our gggreat grandfather was a fur trapper in Canada and married an Indian lady from the Ottawa Tribe.
