#2 February 1, 1999 Surnames: FERGUSON, ALQUISALETI and RIVERA We would like to add my mother to the FERGUSON list: Her name is: Alejandrina Flora Rivera FERGUSON(Born in 1919 or 1918) Her Father: -------- RIVERA (Born in Peru, maybe in 1850) Her Mother: Flora Ferguson ALQUISALETI (born in Peru) Her Grand Father: Robert FERGUSON (born in England maybe he was born in 1854, died in 1894) Robert FERGUSON, he was born in England. He was sent to Arequipa, Peru to the Cailloma Area. He was an Engineer that went to Peru to help to build the railroad. He had three daughters: Cristina, Sara and Flora FERGUSON. My mother is the daughter of Flora FERGUSON. I know that my Great Grandfather RObert Ferguson died in Cailloma, Arequipa, Peru and his corps was sent to England by boat from the Matarani Port (south of Arequipa). After a long journey from Cailloma to Arequipa then to Matarani. At that time the only transportation was with the help of mules. #3 November 14, 1999 Surnames: FERGUSON and ASHTON I am looking for geneology and family information on the ancestors and descendents of Michael Patrick FERGUSON b. 7/15/1857 in Sligo, Ireland) and his wife Elizabeth Ann ASHTON (b. 10/4/1864 in England). Michael immigrated to the US about 1873. Michael and Elizabeth had six living children (Frances, Mabel, John, Ethel, Cecelia and Nettie). Michael Elizabeth settled the family in Le Mars, Iowa. His father's name is Leear FERGUSON born Oct 28, 1880. Mother's name is Ella FERGUSON born Feb 17, 1899. Had five sons and two daughters. Leear's brothers are William (Bill) FERGUSON and Clovis FERGUSON. Leear's father's name is Benjimin FERGUSON b. unknown. Leear's mother's name is Margret POTER b. Feb 17, 1899. Ella's father's name is Wesley FERGUSON b. unknown and mother's name is Ona TOLLIE(TOLLEY). They migrated from Scotland to England through the James River Basin to Ypsilanti.
