held in Nicholas' barn, taught by his sister-in-law Sarah

George Richard Ferguson
George was in the civil war, serving in the 16 Iowa Infantry, Co K.
He is also in an affidavit for Alonzo Ferguson's widow in his pension
records. He moved his family from MI to KS in 1873. He died in a
Old Soldiers Home in Sawtelle, California.
