#1 October 13, 1998 Surnames: FERGUSON and DARBY Who was Elizabeth D. FERGUSON born abt. 1804 in NY - married Francis Gore DARBY on February 9, 1831 in Queenston, Ontario, Canada? She moved with her husband and children to Michigan settling in Macomb County first, about 1852, and then moving to Almont Twp., Lapeer Co., MI. We believe Elizabeth d. Jan 22, 1876 in Almont Twp. Her children were; George b. 1831 St. Catherines, Ontario - Charlotte E. b. May 4, 1837 St. Catherines and possibly William F. b. 1843. I have been told that her family lived next door to the DARBY family in Grantham Twp., old Lincoln Co., Ontario in 1828. Elizabeth's husband, Francis, d. July 14, 1897 in Walworth Co., SD.
