Making of Friends
If nobody smiled and nobody cared and nobody helped us along. If every moment looked after itself and good things always went to the strong; If nobody thought just a little about you and nobody cared about me, and we stood alone, in the battle of life, What a dreary old world this would be. Life is sweet, just because of friends we have made and the things which in common we share. We want to live on, not because of ourselves, but because of the people who care. It is doing and giving for somebody else on which all of life's splendor depends. The joy of this world, when you've summed it all up, is found in the making of friends. author unknown

Here are a few "friends" from AOL. I meet them at the Alternative Health and Healing chat room. I will include this in my favorite sites. The people there are so wonderful, supportive and loving, they are my extended family. My sister was fortunate enough to meet several of them at an Alternative Health and Healing retreat in Ohio. I plan on going with her this year....Besides being informative, these people are a "hoot".

Some more of the wonderful AHH chat room group..If you get a chance please stop by AHH, if there are any questions you have, there will always be some well informed and educated people in there. If they don't know the answer, they can tell you where you can find your answer. You will see one person's photo on a regular basis ANA, I feel a connection with her and feel close to her. Of course you will see photo's of my sister frequently in here too.

This wonderful lady, is one of the facilitators in AHH, she has a weekly chat called Heal 1. This chat bring us all together in one mind and one spirit. There is an open session where Gay (this lovely lady) asks if anyone has a need for special prayer, it can be yourself, but generally it is someone else that each of us want healing light sent their way. It could be a physical, emotional or spiritual healing. The problem is explained, and then the group silently prays for that individual, and then we send up words of love and encouragement. If you believe in the healing power of prayer, than by all means stop by Heal 1 and become part of our wonderful family there, you will be welcomed with open arms.

This Katzie, another very special friend, she lightens my heart, and makes me laugh. Isn't it wonderful how you can meet so many special people on the Internet? Before I got on the web, I heard so many horror stories about the "sickies" out here, and to be sure there are some, but there are also wonderful people like these. I'm glad I didn't let the stories scare me away, I would never have meet these great people, and my heart would have been a little weaker because of it. I have been helping Katzie with a web page, she also fells as deeply as I do about our POW/MIA's, and she adopted one (I did too, see my page Operation Just Cause), I feel priviledge that she asked me to help her...After all thas what friends are for. Some Friends Stay Forever Near Our Hearts


	As we walk our path of life, We meet people every day, most are simply met by chance, but some are sent our way. These become the special friends Whose bond we can't explain The ones who understand us And share our joy and pain. Their love contains no boundaries, So even when apart, Their presence embraces us With a warmth felt in the heart. This love becomes a passage way Where even the miles disappear. The Universal Rx
