It was a wonderful trip !
We would have loved to see more of the States...we didn't have enough time and besides, this was a holiday specially planned for the kids, so we'll do the 'adult' stuff later LOL.
The weather was wonderfully hot which we are accustomed to but it isn't humid like home so we liked it just fine.
Shopping was pretty good for some stuff...we went with 4 relatively empty bags and came home with fully packed 6!
Food portions are huge ! Even the kids portions were pretty big by our standards, especially the pasta dishes.
We tried Chinese food while there...how could it even pass for being Chinese !! sigggggh.
We had the pleasure of meeting three chat friends and their kids who live on this side of the coast...Koala, Mischieviously & Allenpul.
Unfortunately most of the other chatters live on the east coast or in the middle.
But we did have a good chat on the phone with Princess_Sassy and Dros. These 2 have been our most constant chat friends for the last 4 years. We hope to meet them before too long.
There is and probably will be a next trip.

We had a lovely dinner at a quaint Italian restaurant which had fascinating memorabilia from the movie and theatre world...food was good too LOL

Yes yes yes...I even brought Les along!! LOL Someone had to watch the kids while I had fun!! LOL
I love this photo of the kids...its great ! The four of them got along so well.
We were also happy to meet Mischieviously & Allenpul from our old days in Oldbies/Newbies Room and their wonderful kids.
We had a yummy Mexican dinner and would have loved
more time with Misch, Allen & kids...but it will have to be next time.

Disneyland really is a magical place for both kids & adults.
We ended our 3 days in Disneyland by staying for the fireworks and what a show that was !

Oh yes...we saw Tarzan too...what a bod!! LOL

3 days in Disney was perfect. No rushing around, plenty of time to see and do everything,
including repeating some of the rides which the kids enjoyed.

Ryan was thrilled by the Star Tours ride as he is a Star Wars fan.
Ryan exhausted from a fun day in Disneyland,
the 18 hour flight and 15-hour time difference.
We all were for the first couple of days.
Knotts Berry Farm was a disappointment after Disneyland.
Ryan enjoyed the kiddy rides whilst Sarah found it boring!
She looooves big scary rides !
San Diego Seaworld was very good.
The dolphins in their interaction enclosure were a delight to watch.
Kids were thrilled when one of them playfully splashed us with water.
The San Diego Zoo was also very good.
It is huge and its a pity that we didn't have enough time to take everything in
even though we had a day there.
We lined up for a good 45 minutes just to see the endangered Giant Pandas.
Look closely and you will see the latest attraction, a baby Panda born at the zoo. What a treat!

Tijuana was disappointing.
It wasn't a quaint charming Mexican town we expected.
It was way too touristy and all the shops sold the same souvenirs at too high prices.
But we did the touristy thing anyway...had this photo taken with the zonkey...sombrero and all! LOL
No no no I'm not the one in stripes!! LOL
Universal Studios was excellent.
We had been to Universal in Gold Coast, Australia but this one surpasses it.
Les & Sarah loved the Jurassic Park Ride.
Ryan didn't make the height minimum so I had to sit out with him.

Ryan was tickled to be holding Xena's sword.

Offered good ol' Drac my neck and he didn't even want it!
