The Descendants of Henry & Barbara Dickover |
||||||||||||||
So far, we have identified over two thousand descendants of Revolutionary War soldier Henry Dickover and his wife Barbara Ventz of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. There are dozens of stories that have been recorded and hundreds yet to tell of this pioneering American family. The purpose of these pages is to provide another avenue for us, their descendants, to further our understanding of our family and share in it's history. Please appreciate that this information is the result of many years of research and is copyrighted. I don't mind anyone using it to research their family history. It is not to be compiled and submitted to any other site for public access or publication without my permission. Thank you. Dickover Annual Reunion The picture shown below is of the annual Dickover reunion held at the the Miller farm in Tipton, Indiana. This picture was taken in 1883. These are all the descendants of Samuel and Martha Dickover. The lady in the center of the group with the kerchief tied around her neck is Anna Maria (Polly) Dickover. She was the last living child of Henry and Barbara. She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on 28 January 1797. |
