A seal design by Stephen Kajdan, 11, of Clarksville has been chosen as the official seal of the Clarksville Sesquicentennial. According to Kajdan, the seal which he drew describes the Arkansas River and the bluff overlooking the river. The plowed land represents agriculture. A pioneer cabin and national forest are depicted while the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and the sunrise are in the background.
