I became involved with dogs after rescuing my first Vizsla. I soon found myself showing in obedience and purchasing a Doberman. I then met Charlie and Patsy Grant. A few years later, Charlie and Patsy Grant started showing beagles and were co-breeders of one of the top winning 13 inch beagles of all times, CH Teloca Patches Little Dickens. My first beagle "JB" was a half-brother to Dickens. After graduating from college I married my high school sweetheart. Since that time we have had the honor of owning and loving many of these adorable dogs. We are devoted to the breed and am are advocates for breeding healthy quality beagles. I was a registered nurse for many years. I am an AKC judge and a supporting member of the National Beagle Club. I have a special interest in beagle health problems and genetics.

For more pictures and information about our beagles visit the Gallery of Champions and our Future Stars pages. We also have opened our home to a few special rescues. Freeway Freida and Boo came to us as rescues and ended up becoming permanent members of our pack. You can read about each of them on their links.
CH Patches JB Murphy -JB was our first beagle. He was a fifteen inch beagle and a wonderful gentle dog. He always showed his heart out and loved every minute. He was a multiple group placer. He made his mark on our heart and will never be forgotten. JB died of pancreatic cancer in 1996.

Swan Lakes Outrageous"Baby" came to us at 8 months of age and decided that dog shows were not her thing, but her impact in the whelping box was significant. She was the National Beagle Club Top Dam in 1992.She whelped 11 puppies from two litters and 8 became Champions and three of those have group placments. Baby died of bladder cancer in 2005.
