I am originally from New York, having been raised on Long Island.  My family and I now live in St. Charles County, Missouri.    I am currently employed by the Special School District of St. Louis, teaching Middle School students with Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders. I received my A.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education from Post College in Waterbury, Connecticut. I received my B.S. Degree in Special Education from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana, and my M.S. Degree in Special Education from the University of Missouri, at St. Louis.  I have taught in all exceptionalities and my certification is for grades K - 12.  I have been teaching since 1978.    I am an active member in the Council for Exceptional Children.

Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, surfing the web and my special hobby of finding the greatest craft shows anywhere! The perfect day for me would include having a cup of tea with my girlfriends, a great book to read, a picnic in the park with my kids, and a long walk under the stars with my husband!

My husband and I met in college and we have two sons, ages 7 and 16. Our eldest son maintains three web pages, including one for his high school band.  Please see my link to his page (Mikey's Games Page).
I hope you will continue to visit, learn and give suggestions.
