Hi ! I'm Jean and I'm the matriarch of Steeplechase Cattery. We are located in the central part of South Carolina near Columbia, the capital. If you're just starting out, we WELCOME to the world of purebred cats.

We here at Steeplechase are dedicated to the health and happiness of our kitties. I have bred persians for more than fifteen years and I eat, sleep and breathe cats !

Raised underfoot, our kitties have sweet temperaments and unique personalities. Our kitties have made their homes all over the globe.

We specialize in solids and parti-colors and are well known for our "small ears". Our foundation lines come from the distinquished lines of Dania, Jonala, Sundew, Anona, Sugarspun and Softmagic. We now have integrated with Bolo/Tehy lines.

Our pets are sold with a strict neuter/spay agreement and our breeder and show quality kittens are sent to carefully selected breeders only. We feel we are unsurpassed in quality and expertise.

Our main male is Tehy Show N' Tell of Steeplechase, better known to us as "Snopps". Never shown due to a small scar in his eye, our Snopps has produced some outstanding kittens. He is well on his way to becoming a distinquished merit. To Terry Hyde, I salute you and thank you for this wonderful boy.

We are welcoming a new sire here at Steeplechase...GRC Sundew's Diamond Dude of Steeplechase, known as "Beaubie". Thank-you Lorraine, Melanie and Melissa !
