Large Families One of the greatest blessings on the earth is a large (5 or more children) family. I believe when we get to the place where we will allow the Creator(Jesus) to rule our fertility, then we will be blessed. Yes, there is a lot of work, raising more than one or two children, but they are the only thing we get to take to heaven with us. The Bible says that the fruit of the womb is His reward, and that children should be like olive trees planted around their father's table. Barrenness is considered a curse, by most countries in the world, and a family would do well to have some extra hands to help make the parents' load a little lighter. It also helps the children grow up better, by teaching them the world does not revolve around them, which is unfortunately too often the case in America. Chemical Birth control has led to selfishness in too many people, adults and children alike. Maybe it is time to teach our children to think of others first, and one of the best ways there is, is younger siblings. Some links about Large Families.
