This is Ginger and the baby on March 2nd,
a couple of days after Sajid was born. Ginger is double registered
with both the AQHA (American Quarter
Horse Association) and the PHBA (Palomino Horse Breeders of America).
Her sire, Paul F Bar was a grand champion in PHBA circles with 189 "Stock
Type" Halter points, 158 "Stock Color" Halter points,28 Western Pleasure
points, 3 Western Parade Equitation and 1 Hunter Under Saddle point to
his credit. He also had several ROM's! Ginger went into the
showring with PHBA earning 19 "Stock Type" Halter points and 11 Western
Pleasure points herself! After she quit showing, she went to work
on a ranch and developed her cow-working skills doing quite a bit of cutting.
Since this was long before we got her, we do not yet know if she ever competed
in cutting. She has had 10 babies with one currently showing in PHBA.
Of course, we have her last 3 babies (Valencort, Breeze, and Sajid) and
we could not be happier with them. If we are lucky, we will have
one showing AQHA really soon! *S* Ginger has turned out to be a great
mom!
