~~~Well, kudzu is a plant that is famous
in this part of the country (southeastern USA). It's fame comes from
the fact that it grows faster than anything else... and I do mean
ANYTHING!!
It was originally brought here from China (I think) to help control erosion. Well, it turned out that the plant absolutely thrives in our climate. Now, the stinking plant is more of a pest than anything else.
Which brings us to the southern expression
"Growing like kudzu." means that something is growing faster that you can
possibly imagine! I hope this little segment of "Southern to
