102. Johan Peter FRYSINGER was born on 12 Jan 1773 in Virginia. He was baptized on 30 Jun 1779 in Quickels Church, Norfolk, Virginia. He died on 4 Jan 1815 in Norfolk, Virginia. He served in the military. Johan Peter Frysinger served in the War of 1812. Excerpts from Pay Rolls from the Virginia State Library Militia Entitled to Land Bounty under the Act of Congress of September 28, 1850 - payroll of Captain Robert Magills Company, 58th Regiment of Virginia Militia, Rockingham County of the "Flying Camp", commanded by Colonel James McDowell from July 8 to September 28, 1813.

Records show him as a private in a company of riflemen at Camp Holly from July 8, 1813 to September 28, 1813, discharged October 1, 1813 on account of sickness, receiving a pay of ten dollars, 66 2/3 cents and fourteen dollars and 13 1/3 cents. A related note stated "all those marked discharged October 1st, 1813, have been discharged on account of sickness which has rendered them unfit for service and have been allowed 10 days pay for travelling home, 150 miles."

Records from the National archives show Johan Peter served as a private in Captain Christopher Morris' Company of Light Infantry, 4th Regiment Virginia Militia, Lieutentant Colonel Juston and Lieutenant Wooding. He appears on the muster roll and payroll as of July 14 to August 9, 1814 at Norfolk; August 9 to November 2, 1814, Norfolk, in confinement and November 2, 1814 to January 30, 1815, Norfolk, died January 4, 1815. He was married to Anna Catherine AKER about 1796 in York County, Pennsylvania.

103. Anna Catherine AKER was born on 12 Jan 1773. Catherine was the daughter of John Aker and Catherine Worley. She died on 25 Feb 1852 in Champaign County, Ohio. Catherine moved to Champaign County, Ohio with her children in 1816, after the death of Peter. Children were:

child i. Jacob FRYSINGER was born about 1796. He died on 3 Jan 1855.
child ii. William FRYSINGER was born on 25 Dec 1798. He died 10/12 Apr 1836 in Mercer County, Ohio. William moved to Dublin Township, Mercer County, Ohio in 1827. He had six children.

child iv. Sally/Sarah FRYSINGER was born on 25 Oct 1800 or 20 Apr 1800. She died on 17 Nov 1869 in Champaign County, Ohio. She was buried in Myrtle Tree Cemetery, Mad River Twp., Champaign County, Ohio.
child v. Margaret Rebecca "Peggy" FRYSINGER was born on 28 Mar 1802 in Rockingham County, Virginia. She died on 10 Feb 1891 or 18 Feb 1891 in Champaign County, Ohio. She was buried in Bodey Cemetery, Millerstown, Ohio. Grave stone has also been erected in Spring Grove Cemetery which states "Burial site in Johnson Township, Champaign County. Memorial erected on present site in 1977".
child vi. Mary "Polly" FRYSINGER was born in 1804 or 1806 in Virginia. She died on 28 Feb 1880. Another record shows her death to be March 1, 1865. She was buried. Burial site is unknown.
child vii. Reverend John FRYSINGER was born on 20 Jan 1807 in Virginia. He died on 30 Sep 1886 in Mercer County, Ohio.
child viii. Mary Ann FRYSINGER was born on 23 Dec 1808 in Virginia. Runkle Bible state her birth date as December 25, 1810 which is in conflict with her brother, Peter's date of birth in September, 1810. She died on 30 Jun 1893 in Cambridge, Furnas County, Nebraska. She was buried in City Cemetery, Cambridge, Nebraska.
child ix. Peter FRYSINGER was born on 28 Jan 1810 or 2 Sep 1810 in Virginia. He died on 2 Feb 1892 in Van Wert County, Ohio. He was buried. Buried in a cemetery near Wren, Ohio, off Sheets Road, one mile south of Wren or SR 49, then 1/2 mile west in a woods, Willshire Township, Van Wert County, Ohio.
child x. Catharine FRYSINGER was born on 12 Apr 1812. She died on 1 Nov 1895 in Van Wert County, Ohio. She was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, Ohio.
child xi. Noah FRYSINGER was born on 28 Sep 1813. He died in Mercer County, Ohio.
