22. Jenkin WILLIAMS was born in Oct 1823 in Wales.
He was an a miner and hauled ore. Jenkin Williams and Ann (Evans) Williams
were traveling on the Ohio River. They stopped at Gallipolis, Ohio (Gallia County)
to rest. The women were tired of traveling, so in the middle of the night they
cut the ties to the rafts and let them float down the river.
Jenkin Williams listed in "Naturalizations in Jackson County, Ohio 1860-1903"
as arriving in the USA, April, 1848 from Wales. He was married to Ann (Jane)
EVANS.
23. Ann (Jane) EVANS was born in Jul 1831
in Wales. Children were:

WILLIAMS was born in 1850 in Ohio.

Elizabeth WILLIAMS was born in 1852 in Ohio.

Thomas J. WILLIAMS was born in 1857 in Ohio. He died before 1915.
