Roasted Turkey Breast
1 turkey breast
1-2 pounds carrots
6 potatoes
1 onion
4 ribs celery
1 tsp. sage
4 cloves garlic (minced)
black pepper to taste
1 bay leaf
Place turkey breast, breast side up in roaster. Place bay leaf down inside cavity of breast. Place peeled carrots, potatoes and onion around turkey. Lay pieces of celery on top of other vegetables. Sprinkle spices on meat. Add 2 cups water or white wine. Roast in a preheated 325° oven 3-4 hours depending on size of breast. Remove vegetables to a serving dish. Slice turkey breast and arrange on a platter.
