Edgar, the Butler

Voice: Roddy Maude-Roxey
Motive: Get rid of Madame Bonfamille's cats, so he can inherate her tremendous fortune.

Review: As the film "The Aristocats" begins, we see a light-hearted, kind butler named Edgar. But as the film continues, he becomes a greedy, selfish man, who's only interest is money. After he over hears that his master's (Madame Bonfamille) fortune is to go to her cats before him, Edgar decides to rid of the felines at once. I think Edgar has got to be one of the dullest Disney villains to date! No character at all, he's just a fool, and isn't a funny one at that. The movie itself is alright, but it could have been much better if Edgar wasn't such a bland character. I think Edgar led the way for the new dark age that was the villains (and films) after Walt's death. And that dark age continued really until Ursula in "The Little Mermaid." Sykes, and Ratigan were passable villains, but no match for say Captain Hook, or Stromboli.
