Baked Steak


750g Rump Steak

1 tsp Mustard

Salt & Pepper

1 Tbsp Vinegar

½ cup Water

½ cup Brown Sugar

1½ Tbsp Flour

1 Tbsp Worcester Sauce

1 Tbsp Tomato Sauce

Rub steak on both sides with mixture of suger, mustard, flour, salt and pepper. Place in a casserole dish, pour over the mixture of sauces, vinegar and water. Cover and bake at 150°C for 2 hours. This is delicious served with creamy mashed potatoes, salad and green peas.
