4 oz Butter
4 oz Sugar
7 oz Flour
1 tsp Ground Ginger
1 tsp Baking Powder
Cream butter and sugar, add sifted dry ingredients. Knead well and press into a small sponge roll tin. Bake about 20 min at 190°C.
while cooking base prepare the following topping:
4 tbsp Butter
½ Cup Icing Sugar
1 tbsp Golden Syrup
2 tsp Ground Ginger
put all ingredients into small pot and heat through, pour over base while still warm and cut into slices.
