TAN SLICE


12 oz Butter

27 grams Cocoa

7 oz Sugar

375 grams Condensed Milk

1lb 4 oz Flour

55 grams Butter (2nd lot)

2½ tsp Baking Powder

4 Tbsp Golden Syrup

1¼ tsp Vanilla Essence

50 grams Cooking Chocolate Cream butter and sugar, mix in flour, baking powder, cocoa and vanilla essence and mix to a fine crumb. Remove 16 oz of this mixture and set aside. Continue mixing remainder until a smooth dough is formed. Roll out dough and line a greased sponge roll tin. Melt condensed milk, second lot of butter and golden syrup together and pour onto base. Sprinkle on the mix that has been set aside, followed by grated chocolate. Cook at 350ºF. for approx. half an hour.
