MY FAVORITE RECIPES
These recipes are some of my favorites that have collected over the
years.
I have received recipes from family and friends.
I hope enjoy them as much as we have.
When my husband Larry and I first got married, his mother Florence
gave me some great recipes. She said they were some of his favorites.
I will give you a couple of them now.

Vegie Casserole
Recipes from different friends through the years
Brown pork sausage and sausage
and drain.
Add tomatoes, garlic powder and
bring to a boil.
Cut cheese into pieces and add
to the tomato mixture.
Let stand for30 minutes.
(to speed up the melting of the cheese,
put in the microwave for about 5 minutes)
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
Corned Beef Treats
8 oz. cream cheese
2 tsp. grated onion
2 tsp. horseradish
Dash of worchester sauce
Dill pickles
Corned Beef
Mix softened cream cheese with onion,
horseradish and sauce.
Spread corned beef with cream cheese
mixture.
Place a slice of dillpickle at one end
of the corned beef and roll like
a cigar.
Slice and refrigerate until firm.
Muffin Pizza
2 - 6 pkg English Muffins
1 lb. ground beef
1 green pepper
1 large can mushrooms
2 - 8oz pkg cheese
Ragu Extra Thick Sauce
Toast Muffins
Put on Each
1 tbsp sauce
meat
oragano, garlic
powder &fennel
seed
mushrooms
green pepper
cheese
Bake for 25 minutes at 350.
Runza
2 pkgs crescent rolls
1 lb ground beef
1 sm. onion
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 head cabbage
1 can mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Cut cabbage into small pieces and
cook in oil with the onion.
Brown meat & combine with
cabbage mixture.
Cover bottom of a 9"x13" pan with
1 pkg of crescent rolls.
Put beef and cabbage mixture in pan.
Spread with mushroom soup.
Sprinkle w/shredded cheese.
Place remaining pkg of crescent
rolls on top of mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350.
Crab Dip
Cream these 2 items together
9 oz softened cream cheese
1/2 cup mayonaise.
Add
1 tsp. Worchesterhire sauce
1 drop of Tabasco sauce ora sprinkle of
Cajun seasoning
1 can crab meat - drained
Chopped green pepper to taste
Mix well and microwave on medium
setting(5) for 10 minutes.
Serve hot but it's good cold too.
Serve with assorted crackers.
Creamy Dream Fudge
2 sticks Butter or Margarine
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 cup evaporated milk
2 lbs. powder sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
Cooking spray
Melt margarine or butter in a 4 qt saucepan.
Add cocoa - blend well.
Add evaporated milk.
Gradually add powdered sugar
and salt.
Mix until creamy.
Blend in nuts & vanilla
Spray a 9"x 13"x 2" pan and
spread mixture evenly.
Refraigerate for 1 hour or
freeze for 20 minutes.
Makes about 72 pieces.
Nut Cups
Crust
1 stick margarine
1 small cream cheese
1 cup flour
Mix together - take walnut size balls of crust
and press into mini-tins
Filling
1 cup finely chopped nuts
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Fill crust cups 3/4 full.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350.
Butter Cookies
2 sticks of margarine
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 rsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water or a little more
2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Mix all ingredients together.
Drop from spoon walnut site pieces.
Dip fork in water and press down on cookie.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350.
When they are cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
