The FULLMER family goes back a long way. The first known Fullmer or should I say Vollmar that has been documented, was born in about 1646 in Rosswag, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany. This town holds a lot of Fullmer history. Many Vollmar's were born inRosswag, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany before the family traveled to Pennsylvania in 1738.
HANS HEINRICH GEORG VOLLMAR was born Abt. 1646 in Rosswag, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany, and died December 16, 1723 in Rosswag, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany. He married ANNA CATHARINA SCHLOTTERBECK. They had 4 children, HANS JEORG VOLLMAR,JOHANN MARTIN VOLLMAR, CATHERINA VOLLMAR, and JOHANN CHRISTOPH VOLLMAR.

HANS JOERG VOLLMAR was born Abt. 1665 in Rosswag, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany. It is also said that he could have been born in Fruedenstein, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany. He died April 22, 1745 in Wuerttemberg, Germany. He married (1)ANNA MARIA WAGGNER. He married (2) ANNA CUCUELL. He married (3) ANNA BECK June 09, 1696 in Kohlstetten, Donau, Wuerttemberg, Germany. Hans and Anna Beck had 3 children that I know of, HANS JACOB VOLLMAR, JOHANN ANDREAS VOLLMAR, and LUDWIG VOLLMAR

LUDWIG VOLLMAR was born in Kohlstetten, Donau, Wuerttemberg, Germany on December 06, 1703. He married BARBARA ?. They had the five following children: Barbara, Clary, Magdalina Catherina, Johann Michael, and Elizabeth.
HANS JACOB VOLLMAR was born March 06, 1697
in Rosswag, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany, and died November 12, 1761 possibly in Tulpenhocken, Berks Co., Pennsylvania. He married (1)ANNA MARIA DITTIS. He married (2) ABBELONA HOCHUND. He married (3) AGNES RAU August
16, 1718 in Rosswag, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany. Hans and Agnes had 9 children.
Hans Jacob Vollmar was born to Hans Jeorg and Anna Beck Vollmar in 1697. Hans Jacob was a stone mason. In 1718, he married Agnes Rau, the daughter of Micheal and Margaretha Rau. Hans Jacob Vollmar came to America from Germany on September 20, 1738 on a ship called "Friendship", commanded by Henry Beech. Hans Jacob arrived with his second wife, Anna Maria Dittus Follmer and her daughter Anna Maria. Also, two sons from his first marriage came along, Michael and Johann Jacob seeking a new life in the "New World". After his arrival in "The New World", He dropped the name of Hans and began going by Jacob Vollmar. One day, a clerk in a local store spelled Jacob's surname Follmer instead of Vollmar and he and his family started to use the new spelling. Eventually the spelling became Fullmer, Fulmer, Follmer and Folmer.

JOHANN JACOB VOLLMAR was born April 02, 1721 in Rosswag, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany, and died Abt. November 12, 1760 in Jefferson Twp., Tulpehocken, Berks Co., PA. He married JUSTINA CATHARINA KAERCHER January 25, 1742 in Tulpehocken, Berks Co., PA. Johann and Justina had 9 children together.

Johann and Anna had nine children together.
