Event Schedule for Bluegrace Portuguese Water Dogs

Background
With the life time commitment to the dogs we place, it is important that we run regular monthly sessions for both the dog and their guardians. These sessions serve to keep us in touch, and enjoy our dogs, and sometimes work through any issues.
The only Portuguese Water Dog breeder in the world to do this, we started running these sessions in 2001, with great success.
We also encourage those people (and especially judges who want to go over the dogs) who are interested in getting a pup from us, to join us in these sessions
All sessions are free. We just ask people to bring along a plate for a small networking meal at the end.
Schedule for 2002
During 2001 we ran events with a pre-set agenda. However, in 2002, we will work with a more free form content, allowing owners to pick and choose their subjects more easily to meet their immediate needs.
During summer we are meeting once a week (sometimes more) on various Melbourne beaches and parks. This provides an excellent opportunity for the dogs to be socialised, and to problem solve.
These beach sessions always involve water work. As a breeder, it gives me a particular thrill to see the new owners so exuberant about the water work and taking their pups in to swim and work. Our Valentine's Day beach party proved a great time!
