Introduction and objective
|
The objective of the Bluegrace Book Club is to
provide people with ideas for books worth reading.
Most of these books are not only of value to people with any breed of dog.

An added bonus
|
I've recommended a number of books below that I have found helpful. If you click on the book, you can then order it directly from Amazon books. The great news is that for every book ordered through this site, a small percentage of that sale goes directly into a fund for dog health research. Nothing at all goes back to us here. The funds go straight to helping the dogs!

There is a lot of technical information, and I'm taking notes of
some of the definitions to help remember what they mean.
I'm determined to get through the book and understand it,
as I believe that a good breeder has a least a basic understanding
of genetic principles. The more I read this book, the more I can recommend it. It should be one of the foundation book of any breeder's library. Some parts are a little complex and require a bit of time ( like the section on colour), but most of it is quite readable. This book was published in the late 1980's. |
