This is Dani's Page.
Well I thought I would dedicate this page to my penfriend Dani, and her family. We meet along time ago now, on an exchange programme between a local Church in Ormskirk and a youth group in Eitorf, Germany. I went over with the English group, who had set up the exchange, and stayed with Dani and her family.
It was Dani's idea for us to keep in touch, she already had penfriends all over the world, but it was a new adventure for me. I was not used to writing and there was, and still is some times, when we don't write for a while but it doesn't take long for us to catch up again. But it has been and still is well worth the effort.
We have grown very close, with several holiday's at each other's homes since and we now regard each others families as our own. So much so, my last holiday at Dani's was for her wedding, as a witness, to which I was very honoured to do. She married a lovely guy, Stephan and have made themselves a lovely home together. My Mum and Dad also came over and met the rest of Dani's family, and home town/ country for the first time.
Last year Dani and Stephan proudly and very bravely brought their son, Sven over to meet his so called English family.
He was beautiful and took everything in and was probably thinking what are these strange people saying, but kept smiling. Dani keeps me updated of his antics with pictures and letters via email, which seems to have helped us both out as our lives get busier. Here is one of my latest pic's.
My congratulations go out to Dani, Stephan and Sven on their new arrival Anna. I will try and post some pics soon.
