Figured I should give ya my view on friends. Friends are something that I hold very dear to my heart. Very few people every really get to the point of being extremely close to me. I like to blame that on being an AirForce Wife, you make a good friend and you move or they move, you learn to not get attached to people and deal with things on your own. Whether that is the reason or not I dunno.

But I do know the one thing I have now are some very special friends that no matter where I move or they move I will always have thanks to technology(provided there is internet hook up and we all keep our computers healthy).
Everyone has numerous aquaintences and they are great for fun, to pass time chatting, but are they the people you look for when you are hurting and need some TLC (tender loving care) or are so excited about something you can't stand it? I doubt it! At least they are not the people I share those things with. I look for my close friends those that have taken the time to really get to know me, those I can argue with and still be friends when all is said and done and we have realized we don't agree or we really did agree the whole time we just weren't payin attention. These are the friends that always have time for you, or will make the time if you need something, the friends you will drop anything you are doing for, as well to make time for them. These are the friends that sense you are not yourself by the way you type or what you type. These are the friends that make you SMILE by just being there. The friends that know exactly what you are talkin about when no one else does. The friends you look forward to talkin to and miss when you don't see them. These are Friends that will last forever and are truly a Gift from God. They may not be numerous, but they are Forever Friends.

And as wonderful as you are I am reminded that each of us have only one true friend, His name is God. He is the only one that can be there for you at all times regardless of the circumstance. Your husband/wife, family and forever friends can not humanly be there at all times. Sometimes we take our problems to them before we take them to the ultimate emotional and physical healer. God intends us to have these people in our lives for support and to add to our blessings and happiness, But HE does not intend for us to have them and use them in an attempt to replace Him, whether conscienscously or unconsciencously. Remember to talk to Him more than you talk about Him (thanks to the author of that quote I love IT, words to live by)
I love you all And again I thank God, who placed You in My life, for placing you there.
hopefully I will keep adding more friends to this list. Oh some of these are under construction and you can not visit them right now. :o)
