Yep. My dogs write letters to "daddy" Jon. In fact, the whole thing started when Sluggo came to live here and was a little homesick. Although, looking back, I think Sluggo was less homesick than he was worried about his "daddy" missing him. You see, it was just a little bit too hard for Jon to let his baby go. So Sluggo began writing newsy little notes just so he'd feel better. And when Puff Daddy joined us, he adopted the same habits. Now that Puff Daddy's gone (he died young; what a tragedy for us all), Sluggo doesn't write as much as he used to, but maybe one day he'll pick up pen and paper and begin writing again. Or maybe it'll happen when he grows out of his "teenage" years.
