Yeah, I'll teach you a thing or two...
catchment
- (wow!) noun
Something that catches water
or the action of catching water
(Something I wouldn't be doing
heeee heeee ---tikken)
catboat
- (wow!) noun
A sailboat having a cat rig and
usually a centerboard and being
of light draft and broad beam
(A boat for cats? Hee heeee!)
catamaran
- (wow!) noun
A vessel (as a sailboat) with
twin hulls and usually a deck
or superstructure connecting
the hulls (Oh, sure! Another
boat for cats, right?)
catacombs
- (wow!) noun
A subterranean cemetery of galleries
with recesses for tombs, usually with
an underground passageway or group of
complex tunnels or passageways.(Oh,
sorta like a big play maze?)
catechumen
- (wow!) noun
a convert to Christianity receiving
training or instruction in doctrine
and discipline before baptism or
admission to communicant membership
in a church. (I'm still receiving
instruction on not clawing the
couch, speakers or whatever...)
cation
- (wow!) noun
The ion in an electrolyzed solution
that migrates to the cathode; a
positively-charged ion. (Makes
no sense to me. An ion for cats?)
catatonic
- (wow!) adjective or noun
Relating to, being, resembling, or
affected by schizophrenia characterized
especially by a marked psychomotor
disturbance that may involve stupor
or mutism, negativism, rigidity,
purposeless excitement, and inappropriate
or bizarre posturing; characterized by
a marked lack of movement or activity.
(Hey, quit talking about me! Heee heee)
DID YOU KNOW ?!
My humans asked my vet why I (and other
kitties) "knead" with their paws. The vet says
that kneading goes back to kittenhood, when the
kneading paw movements stimulated the flow of
mother cats' milk.
A cat's tongue has many tiny "hooks" that are
used to help grab and hold on to food and are
helpful in "combing" when cats groom themselves.
Catnip is an aromatic herb that belongs to the
mint plant family. Cats have a recessive gene
that determines whether or not they can get a
"high" from catnip! Some cats are not affected
by catnip one bit! (But still, I can't imagine that
all because of genetic fate!) I loooove catnip!
Yeah, I know you need to know how to
say CAT in various languages. Have fun.
