End Of The Road

It's the end of the road. After leaving Copper Harbor and Ft. Wilkins, the paved road ends. After that it's just a dirt logging road. It doesn't start out too bad, but the farther you go, the bumpier it gets. It's 10 miles of teeth-jarring travel to get to where I took these photos. But the view is worth the trip.

A kitten's work
Is never done.
There's air to chase--
Ten ways to run.

It takes all day
To fill my eyes
With sunny grass
And butterflies.

For spot from chuckles :"
