On Monday, Julie and I both noticed that Mao looked a
bit thin. We found out on Tuesday that his liver was
failing, and that he probably wouldn't be around for too
much longer. We couldn't get him to eat on Wednesday.
On Thursday night it was VERY cold, and he decided to
go out around midnight - one of our neighbors saw him
walking down the street. We never saw him again.
