mao - march 1986 - january 17, 2002 - we'll miss you

goodbye mao, we'll miss you!
On Sunday, we had a little ceremony in the front yard. Julie read a poem, and then we buried a picture of him and his collar.
We found out about a month later that one of our neighbors on another street had found Mao Friday morning, barely alive. He put him in his garage and covered him with a blanket, but he died about a half hour later. The neighber was really nice - took him to a vet, who told him that he died of liver failure. The vet then kept him in a freezer for a month of so, but by the time we found out, he was already gone.
