This quilt is part of a Quilt Art challenge titled Quilts Not War. The idea behind the quilt is that the innocent always suffer when there is war. Underneath the small quilt with the hand are the words Hate, Longing, Murder, Intolerance, Blood, Kill, Lies, Death, Fear, Propaganda, Lost. All the things that I wish could be buried so war would not continue in this world. On the hand are the words Love, Freedom, Prayer, Forgiveness, and Life. It is machine pieced and quilted with buttons and metallic leaf. Size is 25.5" x 17".
