This quilt is part of a Quilt Art challenge 3D challenge. It is a mask made of wire mesh and covered with woven fabric, beaded, and attached to the quilt. The quilt is created with painted fusible fused onto a heavy linen like fabric. Yarns were fused to the top with machine stitching holding everything together. There are two shisha mirrors stitched on for eyes and free motion embroidered lips under the mask. This was a lot of fun to make. 18" x 18"
