A PRAYER OF FAITH

"For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

At this point, if you want real hope, hope which is provided by the only one who can’t fail you, you must make the decision to believe in God, following his son, Jesus.

You can make the decision to place your faith in God right now. Ask him to come into your life and in-turn give you the forgiveness and the hope you need, right where you are now. Come to God with a sincere heart and pray:

"Lord, I am a sinner and for that I repent. I come to you confessing my belief in your Son, Jesus. I ask you, Jesus, to come into my life as my Savior. I accept the sacrifice of your life as atonement for my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Grant me hope that will not fail, a hope that comes from you. I ask you to cleanse my heart and make me a new creation, in the name of Jesus. Amen."

If you prayed this prayer with sincerity, you are now a child of God! The Bible says that all heaven celebrates on your behalf!

Now that you have made the decision to follow Jesus Christ, you will need to do a few things to get you started in knowing Him more!

Find a Christian church where you can learn about the Lord and grow in faith with the assistance of your fellow Christian brothers and sisters.

Find a copy of the Bible, God's Holy and precious Word to us. Read it and know God. So that you may know who Jesus is, I suggest that you start your reading in the New Testament, and then complete your reading in the Old Testament.

Lastly, if you would be so kind, please drop me an E-mail note to let me know that you have made a decision to follow Jesus. It would encourage me so much!

May all the praise and glory be to the Lord!

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles,
so that we can comfort those in any trouble
with the comfort we ourselves have received from God"
