d. 20 Nov 1951  in Elm City NC (these dates and places are listed on her death ceritificate)


Married John Henry Bunting 19 Feb 1902 (Nash County Marriage Register 1872-1909 vols 1,2,3  C.069.63002)


Maggie Mae and John Henry are buried at the Town Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Wilson Co.


They had the following children:
1.Cleveland Agusta Bunting (b. 2 June 1903  d. 18 August 1950)  married Ella May Long 12 Oct 1922 (Ella May Long was the daughter of H.H. Long and Jane Whitehead Long) that makes them first cousins.  This marriage produced two children according to the 1930 Census (Arron and Doris Bunting)  Ella May died on 2 January 1933.
Cleveland and Ella May are buried at the Town Creek Primitive Baptist Church


2.Clyde Bunting (b.03 Jan 1906 d.22 Jan 1978) was married twice.  Fannie Webb (b.14 May 1908 d. 06 Aug 1937) and Mary Etta Bunting (b.15 Dec 1920 d.4 Nov 1974)  Clyde, Fannie and Mary Etta are buried in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Elm City.


3. Albert Russell Bunting (b.11 May 1911  d.11 Nov 1975) buried at the Town Creek Primitive Baptist Church.  He was never married.


4. Chester Bunting (b.6 June 1914 d.3 Aug 1993)


5. Otis Mayo Bunting (b.26 March 1916 d.20 Aug 1976)  married Sallie Blanche Thomas (b.26 June 1921 d.27 Aug 1951) on 16 Aug.1943.
They had four children:  Otis Ray Bunting, John Thomas Bunting(my father), Linda Blanch Bunting, and Rodney Wayne Bunting
Sallie Blanche is buried at the Town Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Otis Mayo is buried in Clearwater, Florida.

8. There was a child born sometime before 1910 that died as an infant.  The 1910 census lists Cleveland and Clyde as children but there is an indication that a third child was born but no longer alive.
