Samantha was my baby girl born May 6, 1988. She passed away May 11, 1998. Samantha brought more joy to my life than anything or anyone ever has or ever will. She was my soulmate who taught me the true definition of unconditional love. One day we will meet up again at the Rainbow Bridge but until then my sweet baby girl know your mommy loves you dearly. |
Alex was our first Husky, and she turned out to be one of the biggest parts of our life. We will never be able to forget the way she "talked" to us when she was happy, sad, or even mad. She had her own unique personality that set her apart from any other dog I have ever known, and that's what made her so special. We were lucky enough to be able to keep one of Alex's puppy's from her first litter, and hopefully this young male will touch our lives the way that our beloved Alex did. May she rest in peace. We love you Alex. Steve, Faye, Brittnay, James, And Andre |
Shadow was our first Siberian. We got him as an abused and neglected one year old, hard to believe someone could do such things to a puppy! It took us months of patience, love and understanding to get past the fear that was instilled in him, but he ended up being the BEST friend we ever had - loving, kind, funny, playful and very intelligent. Unfortunately, like the first year of his life, the last six months were hard on him too, suffering from clusters (seizures) that resulted in permanent, irreversible damage, so we had to lay Shadow to rest...
Because of Shadow and everything he has given us-love, fun, humor, kindness and loyalty, we went out to get two more - female Husky littermates. In loving memory of Shadow...

Heidi was adopted from the Mat-Su Valley Humane Society animal shelter in
March 1986. Someone had abandoned her and her litter in a dump during
the dead of winter (Feb), where temperatures hovered around -15 F.
She died, Feb 6, 1999 due to cancer of the mammary gland - which had
spread to her lungs. Additionally, she had severe Hip Diplasia, with
arthritis in her spine. Her last year was in constant pain.
Her loss has been devastating to me, as she was a long-time, loyal and
loving companion. Although, her death was hard to accept, I'm relieved
that she died in HER HOME, and that it happened -- not by her owner's
intervention; she died naturally -- as she had entered this world. She
died in Eagle River, Alaska. |
Buddy, AKA Louigi
Buddy was 6 years old when he went to the Rainbow Bridge; he lived with
epilepsy for almost 2 years and finally he lost the fight due to
complications from phenobarbitol toxicity, which he was taking to control his
seizures. Buddy loved the snow, the Boston Marathon, long walks, pigs ears,
and playing with the other sibes. Buddy will be greatly missed by all those
who he touched in his short life. We all miss him terribly.

This is Rocky Royale he was my Best Friend. Born: May 29, 1984, Died: March 1, 1999 He was my first Husky, in fact he was my first dog period. I miss him so much. He died so suddenly, when I put him out that morning he was fine, but when I was leaving for work a few hours later he was in dire straits. I rushed him to the vet who said it was cancer and he was bleeding internally and going into shock. The vet recommended Rocky be put to sleep. I want so much to go the Rainbow Bridge to be with him. |
