1997-1998 Results

At the Eastern Michigan University tournament, the team finished second place out of eleven schools. Berry speakers won a total of fourteen awards! The results are as follows:

At the first half of the Berry Swing, the Autumn in the Mountains tournament hosted by Berry College our novices won a total of eleven awards! The results are as follows:

At the second half of the Berry Swing, the Mountain Magic tournament hosted by Young Harris College, the team finished third out of twenty-two chools. Berry speakers won a total of twenty awards! The results are as follows:

At the first half of the Five Rivers Swing, held at Carson-Newman College, the team finished third out of thirteen schools. Berry speakers won a total of fifteen awards! The results are as follows:

At the second half of the Five Rivers Swing, held at Walters State Community College, the team finished fourth out of thirteen schools. Berry speakers won a total of twelve awards! The results are as follows:

At the Holiday Frolic hosted by Ohio State University, the team finished fifth out of thirty schools. Berry speakers won a total of twelve awards! We also we crowned champions of the "Team Sing" for the third year in a row, bringing the "traveling fruitcake" once again in to the South! The results are as follows:

At the Georgia Intercollegiate Forensics Association State Championship, Berry finished fourth and took home the State Championship for the fourth year in a row! Berry speakers won a total of forty-four awards! The results are as follows:

At the Heart of the Carolinas tournament hosted by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the team finished first out of eleven schools. Berry speakers won a total of twenty-nine awards! The results are as follows:

At the first half of the Florida Sunshine Swing, hosted by the in University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida, Berry finished sixth out of eighteen schools. Berry speakers won a total of five awards! The results are as follows:

At the second half of the Florida Sunshine Swing, hosted by the University of Florida in Pensacola, Florida, Berry speakers won four awards! The results are as follows:

At the National Forensic Association National Tournament, hosted by Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, Berry placed third in Division I and twelth place overall out of ninety-four. Berry speakers won seven awards! The results are as follows:

At the Interstate Oratory Contest held in Springfield, Illinois, Berry was proud to represent the state of Georgia with the top two persuasive speakers in the state. Congratulations to Dan Alban and Lindsay Wolfgang for a job well done!
