Clifford has been a successful farmer and carpenter through the years.
William Clifford acquired the family homestead after the death of his parents. A new home was built in 1953 on the homestead where William Clifford and Dora Singley still live. [est. abt. 1976 - WJS]

After the death of G. A. Singley December 4, 1943 my family and I took over the dairy herd and continued the business until the fall of 1955 when we sold the dairy herd and went to beef cattle.
Sometime before my mother passed away September 6, 1950 we purchased the home farm as none of the rest were interested in farming. We built a new home before moving here in the spring of 1953, and we have lived here 31 years.
As the farm has been in the Singley family well over 100 years Appanoose County and the Iowa Department of Agriculture have recognized it as a "century farm."
We are members of the Moulton Christian Church where I have served as a deacon. I have served as President of the Moulton Development Corporation since its organization, am a member of the Lions Club and we belong to the Moulton Historical
