Membership Information
The DFW Singapore Club invites residents of the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex, who are citizens or permanent residents of Singapore to join the Club. Other persons who are interested in Singapore and wish to affiliate with the Club are also welcome to join. Students from South East Asia are particularly welcomed as are people who have lived and/or worked in Singapore (or hope to do so). Activities are largely family-based and are designed to address the preferences of Club members. The Club seeks to provide the means for maintaining ties to Singapore and its rich heritage. The Club has no religious or political affiliations. Annual fees are nominal.
These are some of the activities and events the Club organizes :
Informal celebration of traditional Singapore festivals and holidays ( Chinese New Year, Hari Ray Puasa, Divali, Christmas, Easter, National Day, Moon Cake Festival etc.)
Sports and Recreation (including Squash, Bridge)
Seminars and discussion groups on issues of concern to members.
"Help Desk" for for Singaporeans moving to DFW as well as those who intend to move to Singapore.
