One Of A Kind
I am without you Why won't the memories fade? You were unique, one of a kind
All the love we shared The touch of your hand Your gentle embrace Souls entwined We became one Our love a paradise
My loss, an agony Nothing is the same You were unique, one of a kind
If I could find love again Would mean I am unique, one of a kind Wouldn't it?

So In Love
So in love were we One another was all we could see The way love ought to be
Remembering that September when our love began I thirst to love that way again Like a bottle of bubbly champagne
Built a good life as husband and wife The extra sweetness was family and home We knew that neither of us would roam
The nights belonged to us Moon and stars were ours A lingering kiss; a soft caress Brought bliss Of this I reminisce
So in love were we One another was all we could see The way love ought to be

Thinking Of You
I sit thinking of you And the love we shared Like to believe that none compared
As each year passed Our love soared high Up there with the stars in the sky
People would sometimes ask How do you do it?
The answer? We did not continue in the same love That we were dealt And first felt
When a facet of one another's personality was revealed And there was still appeal We would fall in love over and over again Thus we were able to maintain a love That mingled with the stars above

You And Me
Dreams take me back to when I walked with you Even on gray days the sun would peek through and the skies turn blue for you and me
We walked this life together in all kinds of weather Storms that brought great pain Blue skies that brought success And capital gain
From pain we learned compassion To wear another's shoes In success we learned generosity A rare curiosity And shared with others
Sometimes battered and torn Facing other's scorn We walked on knowing the sun would peek Through and the skies turn blue for You and Me

If Only I Could Ask You
If only I could ask you Does paradise exist? Should I subsist? Did Jesus come to greet you? Were my Mom and Dad there with your family too?
Does peace and love flow? Does the heavenly city glow? Can the beauty of flowers be compared? Do you think of me and the earthly love we shared?
I will blunder on from dusk to dawn But when in tribulation and frustration While working on my salvation I know when I am "out of sync" I will think If only I could ask you
