Their redemption on Homecoming Day.

When our time on this old planet is through.

I can’t begin to explain all of the sorrow and pain
That beset us as we struggle through life;
Seems such a powerful Lord would wave His scepter or sword,
And dispose of all our trouble and strife.
But we can clearly see how every plant and tree
Must have sunshine and rain for it to grow;
And just the same, we require both the ice and the fire,
To prepare us to stand up to the foe.

They’re beside you when you just want to cry;
And the angels see how painful life can be,
For they watched our Savior suffer and die.
But we have His promise not to put a burden on us...
